Call for papers on socially responsible AI ecosystems in Technovation
A special issue of Technovation titled Socially Responsible AI Ecosystems: Exploring the Design, Applications, and Implications of AI Innovation is now open for submissions. Edited by an international team of scholars, the issue seeks to advance understanding of artificial intelligence innovation through a socio technical lens that foregrounds societal needs, ethical principles, and sustainable outcomes.
The collection will focus on the design and development of human centred AI, the emergence of responsible AI ecosystems across different organisational and social settings, the wider sustainability implications of AI adoption, and the policy and governance mechanisms required to support trustworthy innovation. Contributions are particularly encouraged from researchers exploring interdisciplinary perspectives on inclusive and socially responsible technological change.
The submission deadline for full papers is 30 January 2026. Further details about the special issue, themes, and submission process are available via the official call for papers.
