R&D Management Conference 2026 track announced on responsible innovation and digital technologies

A dedicated track titled Shaping Responsible Innovation through Digital Technologies for Sustainable Futures has been announced for the R&D Management Conference 2026 in Manchester. The initiative will examine how digital transformation creates both opportunities and challenges for embedding responsible innovation principles within organisations and global supply chains.

The track invites conceptual and empirical contributions addressing themes such as anticipation, reflexivity, inclusion, and responsiveness, with the aim of developing stronger theoretical and practical understanding of responsible innovation in digitally intensive settings. A key outcome will be the preparation of a special issue proposal designed to extend research at this important intersection.

The abstract submission deadline is 2 February 2026.
