We wish to appoint a Senior Research Associate, or Research Associate, to contribute to the business perspective of our £12.6 million RCUK funded Research Hub for ‘Inclusion through the Digital Economy’. This represents a rare, exciting new opportunity for an experienced e-Business researcher to make an impact within a large multidisciplinary environment. The main focus of this appointment is to identify, map and implement emerging strategies, business models and organizational innovations enabled by digital technologies across different sectors and domains. All successful candidates should have completed a PhD in e-Business, information systems and organizational transformation, ideally from a Business School. For the Senior RA, you should have substantial research experience at the post-doctoral level or equivalent; and proven advanced qualitative methodological skills and experience in managing and conducting research projects in multidisciplinary environments and developing new research proposals for external funding. You must be self-motivated, flexible and open to new ideas; a team player and an excellent communicator both in engaging with colleagues from other disciplines and with external organizations; and a track record in publishing high quality academic papers and disseminating results to different stakeholders. Domain knowledge of ICTs in ageing and assisted living, the creative industries and/or transport are helpful but not essential.
