About the speaker
Chair of Information Systems and Sustainable Supply Chain Management at University of Duisburg-Essen and lead the Place Beyond Bytes. Before, I have held an associate professor for Digital Transformation and Information Systems at ICN Business School and an assistant professor position for Educational Service Engineering and IT Entrepreneurship at the department of information systems, Freie Universitat Berlin (FUB). His research has been published in leading journals such as Information Systems Research, the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Strategic Management Journal, Information Systems Journal, and Business Information and Systems Engineering. He was runner-up and winner of multiple paper awards, including the Claudio Ciborra Award for the most innovative paper in 2019. I am deeply embedded in the information systems and management research community and chair conference tracks on leading conferences of the information systems domain, e.g., on platforms and ecosystems, digital technology and diversity, or digital innovation in healthcare.
