Magnus Mahring is the Erling Persson Professor of Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics. He is currently Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology and Director of the House of Innovation, which includes several research centers and a highly successful start-up incubator, the SSE Business Lab. He is also a Fellow at Hughes Hall and Cambridge Judge Business School, Cambridge University, and Co-director of the Swedish Center for Digital Innovation. His current research focuses on organizational transformation processes involving digital technologies, digital innovation, innovation ecosystems, and artificial intelligence in the workplace. His research is published in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Organization Studies, Human Relations, California Management Review, Decision Sciences, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal and Journal of Strategic Information Systems. He has previously served as Senior Editor for Journal of the Association for Information Systems and Information Systems Journal, and as Associate Editor for Information Systems Journal and MIS Quarterly; currently, he is an Associate Editor at Information Systems Research and International Advisory Board member at California Management Review. Magnus serves on the jury of the Swedish CIO/Tech Awards since over a decade and was recently appointed member of the Swedish Government's Digitalization Council.
